Hey, sorry! I meant to post before I went to Brisbane but yea I didn't.
Thursday 5th March
Started at Tom Quinn. It wasn't bad. I don't really fit in there but the people are nice enough, it's not like they're all stabbers and are totally mean and shit I just don't have much in common with any of them.
Friday 6th March
Had Tom Quinn again, it was only for 3 hours so it wasn't bad.
Saturday 7th March - Monday 9th March
Recovering from whatever illness I had, it was pretty brutal but the antibiotics worked.
Tuesday 10th March
Adam came over and we just watched television and I slept a bit.
Wednesday 11th March
Tom Quinn, it was meant to be work experience day but I had to set up a job guide and all that shit, only three people actually did work experience.
Thursday 12th March
Caught the mid-morning train to Brisbane. We caught a taxi to the hotel and the driver was so rude. He was some overseas nationality, somewhere in Africa I think, maybe Asia. And he just watched my shove the bags into the back seat where the driver is meant to open the boot, then the drive to the hotel he just had his hands free phone headset in and was chatting away to someone in his own language.
Friday 13th March
Me and mom walked to the station, it was a fair hike, the first bit was steep downhill, then to get into the building it was a steep uphill path. Then we got into the station and weren't sure where the busses actually stopped so it took us ages to eventually find Sam. When I first spotted her I wasn't sure, I was sure but then I didn't want to embarrass myself and find out it wasn't Sam so I basically just pointed at her lol.
We then tried to find our way into the city. My mom got us a bit lost and it was raining but we eventually got there.
Mom went off and did her own shopping and me and Sam went into the Myer centre building, up to the top floor. The top floor is where all the electronics are and also where they've got their Easter items. It was pretty fun. We wandered around looking at the Easter items first, there were Easter eggs bigger than our heads (yes I actually sort of measured).
Then we walked around looking at the Mac computers and laptops, they were pretty nice. We also looked at and played around with the normal laptops. We were gonna try Guitar Hero on the sample Xbox 360 but it wasn't working. We also played with the camcorders, some of them turned on some of them didn't. Also played with the cameras, most of them turned on. Sam was playing with one with a good zoom, I picked it up zoomed right in and took a photo of some random.
There was also some mp3's and I kinda maybe perhaps sort of broke the Hello Kitty one. Sam hid it behind a stand thing on the table. Then we walked away to play with all of the kitchen appliances.
There were alot of nice big televisions and one was plugged into something the guy called 'iPod TV' or something. It played music and movies and that off of a box. We put on the Saw V trailer and it was fair loud. A shop person came over and talked to us about it and I was just thinking '...I just wanna play with it thanks' I couldn't really figure out how to work it properly though.
Then we noticed the dancing chickens. If you pressed their wing they started dancing and if you picked them up by the head they squawked at you. I found that extremely hilarious.
We went down to the mens floor and there were shiny red maniquins, they were a bit scary. We also went down to the womens floor and there were shiny blue manequins, there was another manequin and Sam somehow pulled the hand off it.
After that we walked into the street and there were people getting their heads shaved for Shave For A Cure, one guy looked like he was gonna cry. Then we had lunch and walked to the hotel. That walk is torturous. It's uphill a fair way, then up a huge amount of stairs.
We FINALLY got back to the hotel and I put some shorts on and we walked next door to the hospital for my appointment.
It was only a short appointment, Dr. Hayes said my left knee is in good knick, it just needs a bit more muscle because right now it has basically none. He also said if my right knee becomes a problem to see him and he'll fix it up, but that only needs to be done if it starts dislocating itself. I think I should be pretty right because my right knee has only dislocated a couple times.
Then we walked back to the hotel, mom ended up walking back down to the city to buy herself some more stuff and me and Sam layed in bed watching television. First was some show uhhm Spoiled or something, it wasn't very interesting because I think you've gotta follow the story, after that was WWE Smackdown, that was pretty entertaining.
At about 4:30PM I think we walked Sam to the station so she could catch her bus home, I also managed to take three photos. I don't look too good in these photos but yea.
After that me and mom walked back to the hotel and when I got into the room I just layed down on the bed because my back was killing and I'm fair sure my legs were trying to disconnect themselves.
Saturday 14th March
Me and mom caught a taxi to the airport DFO. The taxi driver was so nice! He was Australian so he was easy to understand since he didn't have a strong foreign accent and he just talked so much and he was heaps funny.
At DFO me and mom bought a fair few things, mostly for me lol. I can't even remember everything we got. I got some new black boots, some bras and knickers, a nightie, fleecey pyjama pants, hot pink trackie pants, red singlet, 2 t-shirts, and some other stuff. I'll tell you's now, I really love underwear, it's something that you need and you can get your bras and knickers in all different patterns and everything.
We eventually caught a taxi home, he was foreign with a very heavy accent, I couldn't understand him so I didn't bother trying to listen.
Sunday 15th March (Today)
Caught a train home, that's all I've really done. I was so happy to be home because I'd missed Roxsas so much. She followed me around for a bit then there was a moth that couldn't fly so she went after that.
I'm not in the greatest mood at the moment and I've also got a whopping headache.
It's only 9:42PM but I might go to bed soon, maybe.
I'm now kind of in an argument, I've also been given an ultimatum and I don't like either choice.
I really need sleep, I've barely slept properly in so long.
