when i was driving once i saw this painted on a bridge;
i dont want the world, i just want your half
hey guys
alright so i posted last saturday and ive got a few things to catch yous up on.
sunday 25th
dont remember
monday 26th
australia day
uhhm i did something but i cant remember what...
tuesday 27th
didnt really do much just sat around at home
wednesday 28th
had work from 5am-12
it just about killed me, at around 7 my stomach started to hurt, by 9 i was getting chest pains which i get when the stomach pain gets too bad but i stayed on and worked my whole shift and when i got home i collapsed onto my bed.
thursday 29th
was meant to work 5am-12 again but i couldnt because i was still in pain from the day before so i stayed home in bed and adam came over for a little bit because he was in town.
that afternoon at 4pm i had a doctors appointment, it was at a new doctors clinic because my other doctor isnt very good.
anyway i had to go through everything thats been wrong wth me within the last couple years and she said after the amount of time ive been sick and all that its not suprising that i could have this stomach bug its Haelicobactor or something like that, she wrote out a blood test form for me to get the next day when i got a medical breath test so if the breath test came back negative the blood tests might show something.
friday 30th
had to get up early because my breath test was booked in for 7am and i was getting the blood tests done while i was there. so i got there and eventually got to go in, i had to drink some water with this other stuff in it and wait fifteen minutes so while i was waiting i had my blood tests and the nurse put the needle into my vein and no blood came out so she was pushing the needle in deeper and wiggling it around and everything so my arm was starting to hurt then eventually blood came out. then by that time the fifteen minutes was up so i had to blow up a special balloon and that balloon and my blood got sent to brisbane for testing.
when i got home afterwards i was so tired and had a sore arm and my stomach hurt aswell so i waited until lunchtime to see if i felt any better before i called work and called in sick because i was mean to work from 4.30pm - 8.30pm and while i was on the phone with the boss she told me it wasnt working out and ive been sick too often so i was fired, i told mom and she laughed.
saturday 31st
went to sugarland and spent the day with adam, we walked around sugarland for a bit then went across the road to the cinema and saw Yes Man, although ive already seen it before i saw it again because its a good movie :) then we walked around to places like Toy World, The Good Guys, Spotlight and Clive Peters because there wasnt really anything else to do.
when i got home i went on msn and was talking to bianca and she invited me 4wding the next day so i said i'd go even though i'd never been 4wding before
sunday 1st
bianca and matt came to my place and picked me up at about 9.30am and we drove into town to waste some time before we met up with the other guys. the people going were me, bianca, matt (biancas boyfriend), cameron, some guy i dont know his name we'll call him nigel and camerons little brother. we waited for them at the BP fuel station next to Toyota, and this red car parked outside the station and there was a cat in there it was ginger and you could tell it wouldnt to get out because it was pawing the window and opening its mouth like it was meowing so me and bianca wanted to rescue it.
eventually the other guys turned up and we drove off, i couldnt give you directions because i have absolutely no idea how we got where we went, we went to Coonar Beach and the road there was white sand and cameron, his little brother and nigel were driving in front of us and one stage we couldnt see where we were going because of all the white sand kicked up by the car in front of us, and it was pretty cool everytime matt drove around a corner he swerved heaps afterwards. we eventually got to some sand dunes and we were driving around there and we got stuck on one of them and there were some locals there and they were watching as cameron and nigel tried to push us back down the hill and matt even got out and bianca got into the drivers seat to try and push us down but no luck and this whole time there was a group of locals in the middle part of the sand dunes watching us and one of them eventually offered us a Snatch Strap which we didnt have because both cameron and nigel had forgotten theirs. at this point me and bianca noticed how absoutely fugly nigel was, his teeth were rotted!
so anyway we got unstuck and drove off to some different dunes and me and bianca got out and watched the guys drive around them.
when we got back into the car bianca sat in the back seat with me and we were driving back towards town and went through this deep puddle/ditch and stopped a few metres away from it after driving through it so we could watch the other guys go through it and.......they got stuck! so we watched as they tried to drive forward and reverse out of it and me and bianca were standing on the seat up out the sun roof and we drove around so we were behind the puddle while me and bianca were still out the sun roof it was so fun. me and bianca got out of the car and watched the guys try to figure out how to get out of the ditch, we had rope so we tied it to the cars and tried to pull the car out but the rope broke so me and bianca went out to next to the road to try and get cars to stop and help us, one car went past but they couldnt help so me and bianca stayed there for about half an hour longer then went into the shade and matt and nigel went for a drive to try and find some people to help us.
an hour later it was still just me, bianca, cameron and his little brother sitting at the side of the road so bianca went for a walk just into the bush and was grabbing empty glass bottles and setting them up on a flat bit of dirt i think we ended up with about nine and we were throwing rocks at them and in that time one car went past but it didnt stop. then matt and nigel got back and parked on the road and three people stopped to help us. so after about 2hours camerons car was unstuck and we drove on.
we ended up with nigel in the car with us. we drove to his place so we could get his snatch strap
he lives in such a scrubby house, and i was stadning in the doorway and nigel was getting a drink and this is what happened
nigel: do you want a cold drink of water?
me: nah thanks
nigel: would you like to be splashed with cold water?
me: no
and then he splashed me with cold water!! i was like :O why would you? he doesnt even know me
so me and bianca were talking and he made some rude comments and such and we decided hes a complete wanker
we stayed at nigels place for about 20minutes then the guys were finally ready to leave and we drove to the Mobil and bought fuel and lunch and met up with cameron and his little brother and we drove out to Pine Creek or something like that, it was outside bundaberg almost at childers. and we went into a state park that had 4wd tracks all through it. it was heaps fun. at one stage the car almost tipped over on its side and our windscreen was facing straight towards the ground a few times and there was a really steep drop off that mainly affected the back seat and my teeth clicked together really hard and i was just like aha owww
but it was so fun and after we eventually left the state park we went to Nemos, its a car wash place then matt and bianca dropped me home, bianca just sent me the photos we took of us today so i'll put them onto the end of the post.

also im talking to bianca now, she said matt was making her tell me he was sorry about nigels behaviour and that if he'd known he wouldve said something.

So you're saying that your blood's in Brisbane? I find that a little ominous, for some reason. I just remember this book I read once about someone's blood turning evil and killing all the people in the city. Promise you'll give me a couple hours' notice if that's going to happen here?
You already know what I think about the work situation.
But I do also think that you should mail a resume to Taringa and work at the pet shop :D You could probably even get a free guinea pig and some robot mix for it, if you wanted... don't worry about the five hour drive each way.
Sounds like you had fun with the 4WDing (except for the creepy water-spashing guy?)! I've been 4WDing once and we got stuck in a sand dune... or several.
