Hey lovelies, I have news for yous :)


Saturday 14th February
Valentines day
Went over to Adam's for the day. I gave him his present and he gave me nothing. He'd left it too late to go shopping for anything, though he was only gonna get me a card so yer I got nothing.
When I got home and logged onto msn I had a message waiting for me from Bianca asking me if I wanted to go 4WDing the next day and I sent her a message saying yes.

Sunday 15th February
Had to wake up at 5am to get ready because I was being picked up between 6:15 and 6:30
We were meeting up with a group of people at the maccas in Maryborough. There ended up being about 7 vehicles. When everyone had gotten there and was ready to head off we all got into the cars and drove to Rainbow Beach. It's a beach a few hours away from Bundy wheres there's like a bush type thing you can 4WD through and you can drive on the beach as well.
So we were driving through the beach bit behind the Pimp My Ride car and the ARB car. And i just realised yous would have no idea what the Pimp My Ride Car is.
So just quickly, Pimp My Ride is a place in Bundaberg where people go and but stuff for their cars and ARB is a 4WD parts shop. I can't find a photo of the Pimp My Ride Cruiser so I'll describe it; its a 4WD car that is pink and all pimped out with like a good stereo DVD players and all that, it's pretty sweet. The ARB car is just a green 4WD with stickers on it advertising ARB.
So yea, we were behind them and I think there were some people ahead of them. When we were driving through I was looking out the window and bits of it were like typical bush then some of it looked like jungle and I was like :O and the track was bumpy as hell, it was heaps fun. Then we got to a bit of a clearing so we stopped there and waited for everyone and there were HUGE flies trying to eat us and giant ants attacking our feet. After everyone got there we drove on to the beach. Then Matt was driving across the beach and we drove back to the other cars and stopped and Matt's car was smoking and we're just sitting in it like 'what do we do?' and Matt got out to check it and it was on fire so he was asking around for a fire extinguisher and when he eventually got hold of one the fire had burnt itself out. Also the giant flies had followed us to the beach. Then we drove to this picnic area for a break or something, the flies followed us there too. After we sat there for a bit we drove to the Rainbow Beach Surf Life Saving Club for lunch and when we got there they were getting ready to close the kitchen down in 10minutes, probably because it was like 2pm.
The guy driving the ARB car as it turns out was having troubles with his engine so we went to a car wash to wash the dirt off, it was a 4WD car wash so it had a thing that cleaned under the cars as well. But that didn't help. So we drove back along the highway from Rainbow Beach to Maryborough at 60kph, the speed limit on the highway is 100kph.
We eventually got to maccas where the guy called RACQ and we sat and waited for a guy to turn up, half an hour later a guy turned up and he called a tow truck which he said would be there within half an hour later. So we sat and waited some more then a tow truck drove up so we all went over to the cars thinking we would be going But this wasn't a guy coming to tow the guys car, it was just a tow truck driver who wanted maccas so we were like D: eventually the RACQ tow truck guy came and the people in the ARB car got into the Pimp My Ride car and we drove home, Bianca ended up getting in the back seat with me. When we got back to Bundaberg we went to the Pimp My Ride workshop where Matt washed off his car and the other guy had his car dropped off. I forgot to mention the guy who's car had to be towed, he owns both ARB and Pimp My Ride, the guy driving the Pimp My Ride car had just borrowed it off his boss.
When I eventually got home it was like 8pm or a bit after and I was so incredibly tired so I didn't really feel like making myself dinner or anything so I asked mom if she could quickly make me something but she said "No , it's too late." Thank-you mom. So I took some painkillers for my headache and had a nice long shower.
I'd also gotten a text message earlier that day from Todd, he works at Dimmeys a place where I'd put a resume in saying that he'd asked his boss about me but she said she didn't have my resume but told Todd to tell me I could have an interview the next day at 4:30pm.

Monday 16th February (Today)
I didn't wake up until almost 12pm because I was so tired and then I just surfed the web, I ended up downloading Firefox. For those of you's who don't know it's an internet browser like Internet Explorer which I think most people use. I think it's pretty good now I've got it all set up and such, I'd recommend giving it a try.
I headed into town at about 4pm so there was time to get a park and all that. I'll say now I felt incredibly overdressed going into Dimmeys, I was wearing a red sequin shirt and nice denim three-quarters and Dimmeys is basically a 2$ shop.
The interview I had was a group one so there was like 10 of us, and I felt better after I saw everyone because they were mostly dressed nicely as well. The manager took us into a back room and told us to sit in a circle on the ground seeing as there was no furniture in the room then the manager walked out. We all just kinda stood there then I sat down and eventually everyone did, and I must say it was a terrible circle, it looked more like a crooked line. So we were just standing there in silence and I was like "...so this is nice" then more silence lol.
Eventually the manager came back and got us to introduce ourselves and such then we were given random items and we had to spruik them. Spruiking is the art of advertising something that someone may not necessarily need. I'm not really sure how I did.
And now here I am at 11:01pm in bed writing an update. I watched Desperate Housewives earlier whilst talking to Sam, it was the 'controversial fat kid' episode, the one that the US didn't like. I must say it was pretty entertaining. Then I was watching Dexter, Sam was telling me about it so I thought I may as well watch it, it was pretty good too.

And now I'll finish off this post because i think it's gone for long enough.
