So Real

im home!!
so lets recap what happened whilst i was away


WEDNESDAY
i packed all my stuff [yes just a bit of a last minute rush job] and dad dropped me and mom off at the train station and while we were sitting on a bench waiting for a train all these old people come and sat next to us and i was just like "ARGH WHY?!?!" and then adam came to see me off =]
nothing exctiting happened on the train really, i was just reading Twilight [yes i finally caught up and got the books!]
then we got to brisbane and went across the road to catch a taxi up to our hotel which was right next door to the hospital. and when a taxi came and mom told him where we wanted to go he was just like "why dont you walk its just up there" and he points up a hill, mind you we were standing there with two bags of luggage and crutches and mom was just like "just take us there" idiot taxi driver.
umm then after we got to our room and unpacked and such we walked down to the city and i cant remember what we bought but i got a new shirt from jayjays =] its watermelon red with black and silver stars on it =]
nothing else happened that day.

THURSDAY
the day of my surgery.
i had a shower and got dressed and such and went over to the hospital coz i had to be there for 7am because my surgery was in the morning so we checked in and i eventually got taken to a waiting room and got into the super ugly hospital gown and sat in the waiting room. i didnt get to go into the pre-op waiting room until 1pm because the first surgery my doctor had ran late.
then i finally had surgery around 2pm
i eventually woke up sometime around 5pm and i had one of those oxygen masks on my face and i took it off to scratch my nose and the nurse got up me but i was like "no my nose is itchy" then i fell asleep again
i woke up again eventually with a different kind of oxygen thing of, you know the one that kinda goes up your nose? well i took that off to coz my nose was still itchy lol.
i dont remember much else

FRIDAY
umm i didnt do much. the physio came and i got some exercises to strengthen my muscles. they also took the blood drain out of my leg, that was the WEIRDEST feeling ive ever had. there was about 15cm of tube in my leg and the nurse pulled it out and i got this rush or warmth in my leg, as i said weirdest feeling EVER! i dont think much else happened except doctor hayes [the guy who operated] came by and said the operation didnt have any complications =]

SATURDAY
my birthday
and maris birthday
i finally got out of hospital
back at the hotel mom gave me a silver chain bracelet, a poster of heath ledger as the joker :) and put money into my bank account, and adam sent me flowers :)))))))))))))))
other than that i stayed in bed watching friends then will&grace.
we went to the restaurant downstairs for dinner, it was alright but kinda cold

SUNDAY
the shower burnt me. the hot water was too hot and after i turned it off and put on only cold water it came out boliling hot, it hurt a fair bit.
didnt do anything, just watched tv.

MONDAY
came home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
dad come in the car and picked me and mom up and drove us home.
it was such a long drive, sure it was only 4-5 hours but i was SO BORED!
got home and went and sat in bed, then riley came over and so did adam. they had birthday presents for me =] riley got me; a recyclable shopping bag with 3 wrestling people on it, shoelaces, a tshirt, a phone charm and a balloon. and adam got; playdough :), a really pretty crystal triangle, a plush cat and i think there was something else but im not sure.
riley left after a bit and adam stayed for tea, we watched scrubs season 6 =]


anyway a few details and comment answering,
im not allowed to go to school until after holidays because theres the risk that someone will knock into me and im only meant to move around for small amounts of time
and i wasnt in the rock eistedfod
yuck im gonna be so incredibly bored!
